AP Scholars and AP Capstone Recognition
Pennridge also celebrated outstanding Advanced Placement achievement, including 72 AP
Scholars with Distinction and 15 AP Capstone Award recipients.
AP Scholars with Distinction earned high marks across multiple college-level exams, while AP
Capstone students demonstrated advanced skills in research, critical thinking, collaboration,
communication, and presentation through AP Seminar, AP Research, and additional AP
coursework.
Pennridge High School students
continued to excel in college-level
coursework, with nearly nine in 10 AP
exams earning a score of 3 or higher,
reflecting strong student effort, highquality instruction, and a culture of
academic challenge.
In the 2025-2026 School Year:
1,000 AP exams were completed by Pennridge High School students across 29 AP subjects.
91% of AP exams earned a score of 3 or higher, showing strong success in college-level coursework.
Pennridge AP students outperformed Pennsylvania and global averages across the core academic areas of
English, mathematics, science, and social studies.
Strong AP participation and performance help support Pennridge High School’s profile in state and national
ranking systems, which often consider college readiness, academic rigor, advanced coursework, and student
achievement, giving Pennridge another strong statement as we build our reputation as one of the region’s
leading public school systems.
