HR Steps Up Recruitment
Over the last year, Pennridge School District’s Human Resources Department has launched a
dynamic and successful recruitment strategy, designed to bring talented educators and support
staff into the district’s thriving school community.
Successful Job Fairs & Community Outreach
Pennridge hosted several on-site recruitment fairs, including a Support Staff Job Fair in August
2025, allowing applicants to meet multiple district teams and interview on-site, all in a single
convenient location. These events drew candidates interested in roles ranging from custodial
services and bus driving to technology and nutritional support services at the Pennridge School
District. The excitement generated has positioned Pennridge as a local employer of choice, known
for community-minded hiring.
Homegrown Talent & Alumni Priority and a New Streamlined Process
In a forward-thinking move highlighted during the February 2025 board meeting, Pennridge
announced guaranteed first-round interviews for district alumni applying for support and
professional roles. The district also streamlined its hiring processes: all job postings now route
through a centralized online application system, eliminating paper submissions for improved
efficiency and clarity.
